Fellow, Equity Agenda
Sepi Aghdaee is the Equity Agenda Fellow at The San Francisco Foundation. Sepi brings over ten years of experience working on economic empowerment across key issues including education, child care, reproductive justice, immigration, workforce and wage equity. She strategically combines community organizing, policy advocacy, research, and data-driven interventions to improve outcomes for low-income families and communities of color. In her current role, Sepi helps lead the foundation’s learning and evaluation activities to ensure local communities, grantees, and the staff and Board utilize the foundation’s resources to improve racial and economic outcomes in the Bay Area.
Sepi supports the strategy development, implementation and grantmaking for investments across the foundation’s People, Place and Power focus areas. Sepi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Public Policy from the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business and Public Policy at Mills College and her BA from UC Berkeley.
