Marketing and Communications Officer (Community Engagement)
Erin Reynolds is a Marketing and Communications Officer, focusing on community engagement, at The San Francisco Foundation. Erin is focused on events and community engagement, and she serves as the marketing and communications lead on planned giving and the Place Pathway.
As a Bay Area native with a background in philanthropy and financial technology, Erin has a deep knowledge of both the tech sector and the local nonprofit ecosystem. She began her career in program management at The Taproot Foundation, where she led nonprofit outreach and managed the delivery of over one million dollars’ worth of pro bono projects. She left Taproot to join then-nascent fintech company SoFi, a consumer lending startup which helped college students gain access to more affordable, community-based student loans and which went on to raise nearly $2 billion in funding. Most recently, Erin managed marketing and communications at ApplePie Capital, a company enabling entrepreneurs to get small business financing.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and International Studies from Northwestern University.
