Jackie Downing

Director of Donor Relations

Jackie Downing is dedicated to helping donors achieve their philanthropic goals and make a difference on the issues that are important to them. Jackie oversees the Foundation’s donor engagement and philanthropic advising services. Since joining the Foundation in 2010, Jackie has helped to build an engaged community of donors who learn and partner with the Foundation on grantmaking, family philanthropy, and program-related investments.  Jackie holds a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation from the American College, and she is a certified philanthropy consultant for multi-generational families through the 21/64 network. In addition, Jackie is a member of the Greenlight Fund’s Selection Advisory Council for the Bay Area, and Full Circle Fund. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and a recipient of the Howard R. Swearer National Student Humanitarian Award from Brown University. Prior to joining the Foundation, Jackie served in senior leadership roles at several Bay Area nonprofits and worked as a human rights observer in Colombia. Jackie is currently pursuing her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco.
