Sindy L. Craig
Director of Planned Giving
Sindy L. Craig is the director of planned giving at The San Francisco Foundation. Sindy is a passionate charitable gift planner and director of planned giving who enjoys working with donors and families to create lifelong and legacy philanthropic plans that integrate their financial, tax, and philanthropic goals.
Sindy brings 21 years of nonprofit experience to the Foundation and has diverse major and planned gift fundraising experience in higher education and healthcare fundraising environments. Prior to her most recent position at the Swedish Medical Center Foundation in Seattle, Sindy served as the director of development, gift planning for The Ohio State University Medical Center and Health Sciences development team and worked in partnership with the development team to raise nearly $40 million to support cutting edge initiatives and capital projects at the Wexner Medical Center, the James Cancer Center, and the seven Health Science colleges.
Sindy has led integrated major and planned giving efforts during campaign initiatives as senior philanthropic advisor and director of planned giving at Kenyon College, as director of planned giving at the University of Vermont, and as associate director of gift planning at Middlebury College. Sindy is a proud first generation college graduate of Bowling Green State University, earned her J.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma, LL.M. in taxation from the University of Washington. Sindy is a member of the bar in Oklahoma and Washington.
