Program Officer, Nurturing Equity Movements
Yolanda Alindor is a Program Officer in the Nurturing Equity Movements Pathway, where she focuses on leadership development. In addition, she is also the Organizational and Professional Development Officer leading in-house organizational development efforts. From 2006 – 2016 Yolanda led the Foundation’s Multicultural Fellowship Program, including its alumni network of over 80 former Fellows. From 2009 – 2012 she led The San Francisco Foundation’s Community Leadership Project, providing capacity-building resources and training to organizations working in low-income communities of color. Yolanda area of expertise include organization development, capacity-building, leadership development and professional development; most of that experience is focused on working with people of color. Prior to 2006, Yolanda was an independent organization development consultant specializing in strategic planning, board governance, and meeting facilitation with a focus on community-based and social change organizations. Yolanda has served on various nonprofit Boards and currently serves on the Advisory Council of the Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at John F. Kennedy University. Yolanda has an MA in communication from Stanford University and a BA in political science from California State University Hayward.
