Cristina Jimenez
Senior Officer, Philanthropic Partnerships
Why do you do what you do? What drew you to the foundation?
As a fundraiser with a deep commitment to equity and social justice, it is a privilege to work for an organization that allows me to match my professional skills with my personal values. When it comes to building relationships and leveraging resources on a scale that can truly impact equity in the Bay Area, there is no better place to be than the San Francisco Foundation.
How would you describe your role?
As part of our Programs team, I coordinate and support fundraising and partnership-building efforts on behalf of our bold racial and economic equity agenda.
Are you involved in any volunteer activities?
My family and I live in Oakland, and we regularly volunteer at the Alameda County Community Food Bank, where my husband is also a fundraiser.
