On December 3, 2025, […] WORTHLESSSTUDIOS, in partnership with Gorjestani’s Even/Odd studio and police reform organization Campaign Zero, announce[d] that the organization has secured $1 million in funding to support “1-800 Happy Birthday’s” next chapter, a national rollout of the exhibition, including community events, public art installations, and partnerships with institutions. Appropriately, the expansion begins in San Francisco with a public art installation at the Guardhouse at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture on view from January 19 through February 14, 2026, coinciding with SF Art Week and FOG Art Fair.

The project’s $1 million in funding comes from the Mellon Foundation, the San Francisco Foundation, The California Endowment and the gtrippin fund at East Bay Community Foundation.
