Why do you do what you do?
I love helping people make a difference. When individuals come together around shared philanthropic goals, great things can happen for our communities, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that process. And I love fundraising for good causes!
What drew you to the foundation?
Coming from a non-philanthropic background, I was excited to work for an organization whose mission and values are so closely aligned with mine, promoting equity in a region where the gap between the haves and have-nots continues to widen.
How would you describe your role?
I partner with professional advisors, including estate planning attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors, to help them have meaningful conversations with their clients about philanthropy and therefore differentiate themselves even more with their clients.
What inspires you?
My faith, my parents, my kids, and the many unsung heroes in the SF Bay Area who aim to make this city more equitable and such a remarkable place. I actively volunteer with my local parish, the Woodside High School Foundation, and the Peninsula Multi-Faith Coalition.
