This Community Foundation Just Got Edgier. Will Others Follow?

On June 16th, Inside Philanthropy reported on The San Francisco Foundation’s shift in grantmaking activities and commitment to addressing racial and economic equity in the region.  “With many stakeholders to keep happy, starting with local wealth elites, you don’t tend to see community foundations leading the charge on controversial issues or going toe-to-toe with the powers that be.”
