On September 8th, San Francisco Chronicle reported that “the 49ers have pledged $1 million to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and the San Francisco Foundation to address social inequities.”
ESPN reported on 49ers CEO, Jed York, who stated, “we want to help bridge the gap and create better dialogue, better communication, better collaboration between law enforcement and the local communities, and continue the efforts that we’ve taken to keep kids safe, on track and in school in our communities.”
