In the Bay Area, we believe in diversity and community. We take care of each other. Right now, many immigrant families across our region – who are our friends and neighbors – are grappling with the threat of detention, deportation, violence, and the fear of immigration raids. Our headlines have been filled with imminent threats of increased federal immigration actions targeting our Bay Area communities. We wanted to share information that can help our communities prepare.
Call to Action
Community partners are stepping up to help mobilize to support Bay Area communities.
- Bay Resistance is a regional hub to share information: Act Now — Bay Resistance
- Rapid Response Networks: Organized by county, these networks are operated by coalitions of non-profits, legal service providers, and volunteers dedicated to providing immediate immigrant support. These networks have emergency hotlines to activate a network of on-call immigration attorneys who inform affected individuals and their families of their rights and begin building their legal defense. :
