SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The San Francisco Foundation has announced that Molly Q. Ford has been appointed to its Board of Trustees for a five-year term. Ms. Ford is the Vice President of Global Equality Programs at Salesforce.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Ford spent more than 15 years in communications and public relations positions at Salesforce as well as a number of other large technology companies. Five years ago, she turned her passion for diversity into a full-time career. She now leads Salesforce’s efforts to drive diversity, inclusion and equality throughout the organization.
“For us to reimagine a Bay Area that includes everyone, regardless of our skin color and zip code, we need all sectors to step up,” said Fred Blackwell, CEO of the San Francisco Foundation. “We’re thrilled that Molly is joining our organization and look forward to learning from her expertise in the tech sector, as well as her experience in Equity, Inclusion and Diversity programs.”
“I am excited to be joining the San Francisco Foundation’s Board of Directors as it continues its rich history of advocating for racial equity and economic inclusion,” said Molly Q. Ford.
Ms. Ford holds a B.S. in Public Relations from San Jose State University. In 2018, the San Francisco Business Times named her one of its Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business.
