Why do you do what you do?

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I’ve always felt a deep commitment to supporting our diverse and vibrant communities. My journey in philanthropy has given me a firsthand understanding of how impactful community investments can truly transform lives, and I aim to be an active participant in creating a brighter future for all.

What drew you to the foundation?

I began my career in the nonprofit sector and have always been inspired by the San Francisco Foundation’s mission. Their dedication to advancing a more equitable Bay Area deeply resonated with me and this shared vision is what drives my commitment to make a positive impact in our community.

How would you describe your role?

I support fundraising initiatives and fostering meaningful partnerships. Within the Community Impact department, I focus on supporting data quality and project management to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

What inspires you?

Art inspires me, particularly in how it serves as a powerful tool of communication and expression across a variety of mediums. It provides a space to share stories, culture, and history in truly unique and impactful ways.
