Why do you do what you do?

I am using my power for good. Working in the nonprofit sector allows me to use my talent and energy to make positive change. The foundation’s mission inspires and motivates me to deliver operational excellence and superior service to our donors, community, and staff. I can’t imagine how a corporate bottom line could compare. 

What drew you to the foundation?

The foundation’s history and evolution is legendary in the Bay Area. I’ve seen and experienced its commitment to recognize and deliver focused grantmaking that serves our most vulnerable neighbors. Working to support the internal operations of an organization that puts equity-based support and leadership front and center is a career milestone. I am honored to contribute to the work and legacy of the foundation.

How would you describe your role?

I am one of the wizards behind the curtain. My work brings order and efficiency to back-end systems that sustain the delivery of the foundation’s mission, reputation, and public face. I am responsible for managing the systems, processes, administration, and data that support our Philanthropy and Gift Planning team.
