George Markov

George Markov is the Founder and Managing Partner of West Hall Capital Partners, a private investment firm which makes concentrated, long-term investments with dual emphasis on growth and discount to intrinsic value. He was formerly a Managing Director at White Elm Capital, a global long/short equity hedge fund, where he was responsible for sourcing and researching long and short investments globally and opened the firm’s San Francisco office. Prior to White Elm, he began his investment career as an associate with SPO Partners, a private investment partnership that makes concentrated, long-term investments in public and private companies. Prior to joining SPO, he worked with Morgan Stanley in its investment banking division.
