Why do you do what you do?
I feel privileged to be part of San Francisco Foundation which supports change and validity, while promoting positive impacts in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an Assistant to the CFO, I have high professional and personal standards and the role allows me sole responsibility for everything I am assigned, and taking ownership of my work is important to me. I thrive at multi-tasking, being organized, and being proactive, taking the initiative to alleviate the workload and promote the CFO’s contribution to the agenda at SFF.
What drew you to the foundation?
My experience in administrative support has transformed my work ethic. SFF matches my professional and core values and allows me to contribute to the advancement of communities in the SF Bay Area.
How would you describe your role?
As an Assistant, I provide complete support to the CFO and directed support to the Team’s Managing Directors. Vital aspects of my role include managing the CFO’s calendar, project management, and coordinating logistics for meetings, events, and special projects. I act as a liaison between the CFO, Board Committee members, and colleagues in calendaring Committee meetings and events. My leadership role as an Assistant is to ensure the overall efficiency of departmental operations while building a strategic partnership with the CFO reflecting the vision of the San Francisco Foundation.
What inspires you?
My passions include enjoying wellness and self-care practices, hanging out with loved ones, reading, journaling & vision boarding, learning new skills, and listening to music and my favorite podcasts.
