Why do you do what you do?
I aim for my career to reflect my personal beliefs, and I have always worked for organizations that strive for a more equitable and healthier society. Having grown up in the Bay Area, it’s important that my work focuses on creating a positive impact in my community.
What drew you to the foundation?
I was drawn to the foundation’s reputation of creating serious change, focused on racial equity and economic inclusion. After working for organizations that provided direct service, I wanted to broaden my experience and work for the foundation to have a larger-scale impact on people and organizations.
How would you describe your role?
I support the Operations department, specifically the COO and Senior Director of HR & Administration. I work on scheduling, onboarding, board support, event management, and ensuring systems and processes are flowing smoothly for all employees at the foundation.
