Merredith Treaster

With over 20 years of real estate investment experience, Merredith is the President of Whitney James, a real estate investment consulting firm. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management at EQ Office, overseeing Blackstone’s Northern California office portfolio. Previously, as Managing Director at Nuveen, she was the fund manager of its U.S. Strategic Lab Vehicle and Northwest Regional investment head, asset managing a $3.3 billion portfolio and consistently delivering returns above market benchmarks and transacted on 4.1 million square feet of acquisitions and dispositions. Throughout her career, she has contributed to over $6.5 billion in real estate transactions, including notable projects like the 750,000 square-foot Park Tower and Salesforce Tower in San Francisco. Merredith holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from UCLA, a California Real Estate Broker’s License, and serves on the San Francisco Foundation’s investment committee.
