On February 16th, the Point Reyes Light reported on information sessions convened by West Marin Community Services, a committee comprised of activists and lawyers formed to combat uncertainty and promote constitutional rights in West Marin.
“We see the collaborative as setting the record straight,” said Maria Niggle, who leads the committee meetings. “On a personal note, there are a lot of rumors and anxiety… It’s really important not to feed into that. We need to wait and make sure we all know what is going on so we don’t spread falsehoods.”
The committee’s public information sessions are funded in part by a grant from The San Francisco Foundation’s Rapid Response Fund for Movement Building.
