The devasting 7.8 magnitude earthquake and its equally powerful 7.5 magnitude aftershock, which hit Turkey near the Syrian border in the early hours of Monday February 6, have left the countries reeling as over 20,000 people have been killed, tens of thousands more injured and millions affected. Freezing temperatures, continued seismic activity and forecasted snow or rain have created a race against time for rescue workers.
To help rescue and recovery efforts, we have compiled a list of organizations providing critical support in the region.
