Merredith Treaster

Merredith Treaster is the Chief Operating Officer of Bayhill Ventures, a commercial real estate investment firm, where she oversees investment strategy, underwriting, fundraising, and overall company operations. Prior to Bayhill, Merredith was the President of Whitney James, a boutique consulting firm she founded to provide advisory services to institutional investors, family offices, and venture-backed companies in feasibility, development, and investment strategy. She has also held senior leadership roles at EQ Office (Blackstone) as SVP of Portfolio Management, and at Nuveen, where she managed a $3.3B regional portfolio and later became fund manager for its U.S. Strategic Lab Vehicle. Earlier in her career, she played a leading role in landmark San Francisco developments with Hines (Salesforce Tower) and The John Buck Company (Park Tower).

Over her career, Merredith has overseen $6.5B+ in development and investment activity, including ground-up construction, large-scale redevelopments, and complex capital structuring. Merredith serves on the San Francisco Foundation’s Investment Committee and previously served on the boards of LINES Ballet, an internationally renowned contemporary ballet company, and PRC, a leading San Francisco nonprofit providing housing, mental health, and workforce development services.

She holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from UCLA, is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
