Why do you do what you do?
I am passionate about communicating with people, telling compelling narratives, and learning about new initiatives. The Bay Area is such a rich place, filled with amazing people committed to uplifting the community. I want to help spotlight those stories with an emphasis on social justice, philanthropy, and diversity.
What drew you to the foundation?
Being born and raised in the Bay Area, I want to spend my time in a position that is in touch with my community. The core efforts to advance racial equity and economic inclusion profoundly resonate with me, as I have seen my home change so dramatically over the years. I am so grateful to be in a role where I can combine my skills with my personal values.
How would you describe your role?
I support various projects to execute consistent, clear messaging that highlight the foundation’s commitment to the people of this place and power-building across groups. I also manage our Chief of Marketing’s schedule, track tasks across the team, and provide updates to the website.
