Supporting Black Developers is Key to Advancing our Equity Agenda

SFF CEO Fred Blackwell emceed the Black Developers Forum’s first-ever, in-person reception celebrating the work of Black affordable housing developers throughout California.

The Black Developers Forum is a California-based non-profit and one of SFF’s key grantee partners working on a progressive regional and statewide housing agenda. They are working to level the playing field for Black affordable housing and community-oriented developers, including their work to unlock millions of dollars to produce affordable housing for our communities.

As Fred has noted, “The Black Developers Forum has already become indispensable in the fight to ensure equity for California’s Black developers. I look forward to the work ahead and seeing them continue to grow. I hope you’ll join me in celebrating the work of this incredible organization.”
